Reflection
7.04.23 - 14.07.23 / Week 01 - Week 15

Experience
My experience with this class was a fairly mixed bag in my opinion, there were quite a few good moments and some bad moments as well. Most of the bad moments in this class can be attributed to how it was handled as there were quite a few times where our lecturer would cancel the class or not go into full detail over what it is we were supposed to do. He would show us what to do, and then check on everybody and then end class without taking attendance. While it was nice having a fairly short class, I do feel that it mostly went to waste as we didn't spend enough time learning what we should have been learning. On the other hand however, the projects that we did for this class were interesting and I learned a lot about illustrator and different design elements which will definitely help me in my course.

Observations
One observation that I made that I really enjoyed was the difference between raster artwork and vector artwork. I really enjoyed working with vector art work as everything was always in it's highest quality regardless of what size it was which made working with it a lot easier and satisfying. I am glad that this class allowed for me to start practicing with vector artwork and I hope I can continue to work with it in my future classes. Another observation that I really enjoyed was seeing how creative my classmates were able to get with the assignments as a lot of people in my class had some visually stunning pieces of work that they made. 

Findings
I've noticed that throughout this course, my skills have greatly improved from how they were when I first started and it's visually noticeable when you compare my exercises from project 1 to my final project with the animated visual novel. To think that I was able to improve my skills that quickly in just fourteen weeks is interesting to think about.

Overall I'm thankful for this course, I learned a lot about Adobe Illustrator and I hope I get to work with it more in the future and explore the other tools and areas that we didn't get learn in this class.

Because this module is connected with Environment Design, I included the drawings that I had made in that module in the slides since they were also Marvel Rivals based. Because my classmate told me that we needed cover art for our art bible, I decided to repurpose my unused splash art that I made for the cover since I did not have enough time to design an entirely new cover just for the art bible.
